The drive team is a vital component of the robotics team. During the pre-season the drivers train with the robots of previous years and also participate in post-scrimmage competitions. They work hand in hand with the design team to develop and implement a workable strategy. The drive team consists of one driver, one operator and one human player. The experienced members train younger members, preparing them for future competitions. Besides driving, an important job is scouting other robots competing in events.
