Role in the sub-group: Give some unique ideas and give the robot its
winning design!
Reason for joining FIRST: To be honest first I joined because I heard there
was traveling involved in it but afterwards when I went to the meetings it
became very interesting. Building the VEX Robot really got me hooked on
because if I wanted to do something in Robotics was build a robot(plus our
team won).
What other clubs or activities are you involved in? Interact Club and Academic League and I help a lot in church.
What are your interests / hobbies? Well I like to play drums (doesn’t mean
I’m good at it), I love to play soccer, listen to music, watch TV and very
important to me is that I love to read the Bible and spending time with
friends.
What is your favorite class(es)? I honestly like them all but I’d have to
say I like Psychology and Decades of Change the most because I actually
learn in those two classes.
What is your favorite websites? Don’t really have one but I go a lot on Hi5
because I’ve found a lot of old friends there.
What is your favorite TV shows? I have a few but my favorites would be Law
& Order, Whose Line, Myth Busters and Scrubs.
What is your favorite book(s)? The Bible, Purpose Driven Life, that’s about
it because I don’t read much.
What is your favorite quote or saying? No answer
Who is the person who has influenced you the most on the Robotics team?
I’ve been influenced by everyone in more than one way but I would have to
say that I have been most influenced by Robert because as the sub-group
leader I’ve learned a lot about engineering, the team’s structure and I’ve
had fun building the prototypes.
Favorite thing about participating in FIRST: All the fun that we have and
also learning a lot from everyone, being either the engineers or from
student to student.
College Plans/Major: I’m planning to go t nursing school next year and to
save some money afterwards to become a psychologist or doctor.
Mention one thing about previous years’ competitions that you will always
remember: I have none, I’m a rookie. |
