These are images from our first week of Robotics, there aren't many because this was more of the preparation week.

We were divided into alternative groups from the Sub Groups in order to complete the large amount of preparation for the build to begin. We also had a visit from three of our alumni this week, Heather Kerr, Amy Shivers, and Jessica Fittipaldi.

There was some weird chain fad happening this week, I have no idea how it started, nor do I really want to know...

This week we were constructing our field, which was slightly more than half the regulation. We were constrained on the space provided, so we had to make due with what we had. Regardless, as long as we have the bumps and center pieces, we'll be able to use that to simulate the whole field.

We worked on the spring-loaded kicker system, trying to get the kinks out. It still cause us some difficulty, so I hope it'll be perfected soon.

This was our robot lifter week. While working some kinks out with our kicker, we constructed a lift system to pull our robot up using the center piece bar(s).

Ok, it's time to show off THE BEAST. Now down to the last week it's time to finalize the bot and get it ready to take home the gold!
